With Covalent's Estimating package, Dynagraphics offers fast turnaround and accurate estimates on every quote request.

Estimating is a fully integrated, user-friendly, Windows-based product for estimating, costing, and reporting throughout the production process. It allows changes to be made easily to a finished estimate, so the customer can view cost comparisons for various paper grades, quantity, page count, number of ink colors, coating options, and more. Estimates remain on the server for up to three months for easy access or until a job is completed.

Our system has been upgraded to the latest software version, and this information system enables us to track each print job through the shop and gives us a daily report of the current status and up-to-date costing. We generate all reports after the job is completed to determine cost versus target sell, then a detailed comparison is executed to the original estimate.

Accuracy percentage in estimating is roughly 95 percent, with no error passed on to the customer.
